Reno has roughly the same number of golf courses and swimming pools it had in the 1970s. The population has tripled. Walking, hiking, and biking trails have disappeared under new development. Our quality of life should be growing alongside our city, not shrinking. As mayor, I will prioritize parks and recreation investment for the families who show up every day, pay their taxes, and play by the rules. Not every dollar has to serve only ten percent of the community. It’s time the rest of Reno got a return on its investment.
